Crazy Cologne Carnival Compilation
This is a
very special one and we are really not sure, if people
not living in Cologne or Germany will be able to understand
its humor and references. Ajujatronik is the combination of two things
that up to now have never fitted together. On the one hand there is the
huge tradition of Cologne carnival with all its dos and don'ts. On the
other hand there are the musicians Schäng Pfui, Mätes B. and Jott Pee,
who grew up in this tradition and started to mix this native
tradition with their experiences as producers of electronic music
. The output is a satirical and funny view of the carnival
in Cologne from the 3 guys who really are still in love with
it. TSCHINGDERASSABUM!

Ajujatronik - 11 Jahre jecke Elektronik
Synthesizerklänge,
Sampling Orgien, Tekkno Drums wild gemischt mit kölschen Klängen und
Stimmen und einer gehörigen Portion Karneval? Und das soll
funktionieren? Es funktioniert und dieses Projekt liefert den
eindrucksvollen Beweis. Was hier scheinbar mühelos gelingt ist das
Ergebnis jahrelanger Forschungsarbeit auf zwei Gebieten, die auf den
ersten Blick so gar nichts gemeinsam zu haben scheinen. Schäng Pfui,
Mätes B. und Jott Pee, drei "echte kölsche Junge", aber eben auch
Musiker mit einem Hang zum elektronischen Experiment bringen hier
zusammen, was lange Zeit nicht zusammen zu passen schien. Das
bodenständige Lebensgefühl des kölschen Karnevals und die manchmal
etwas abgehobene Sichtweise des sogenannten "Künstlers". Man darf
in Zukunft durchaus von einem neuen Subgenre in der elektronischen
Musik sprechen: Ajuatronik - Elektronische Musik mit kölschem Gen.
